I played a Casino with a Lollar P90 at the bridge and a Biltoft neck P90. The combination is what sold me on getting a Casino in the first place. I ended up selling a Melody Maker with the same Lollar P90 to be able to afford getting a Casino and changing out the stock PUs (I didn't end up getting the one I tried). They test out as being hot, in the class of hot pickups. Epiphone also makes a P90 Classic that when used on a solid body tends to provide a driven Strat sound, but still definitely P90 tones, but when on one of the Casino's it sounds different. My most recent Epi is a 2020 Wilshire, with P90 Pro's in a similar layout to the LP Special.

I was able to buy nickel silver covers for a Casino from a vendor who markets there. I would think you'd also find plastic covers in cream or black as well. Whether your MIC Casino has the P-90 Classic™or the Epiphone PRO P-90.. Also note that the earlier Korean P-90's, I think, were wound like the P-90 Classic, possibly and not to forget the Indonesian P-90's. Also the Epiphone USA P-90 supposedly wound like the Gibson P-90.

After owning this guitar for months and playing it, I decided on my upgrades and have started. The new pickups are Antiquity II P90s with mojotone shims for better pickup height, I've swapped knobs from my ES-335 that I won't be using, and I purchased a higher machined ABR-1 style bridge which cut back on a lot of the buzzing.

An original P90 Pickup Set out of my Epiphone Casino from 1995 (Peerless Factory Korea). I cut the wires of the Pickups to about 5cm, cause I changed the harness of my Casino and, leaving the wires that come out of the guitar going to the PUs long, so I could easily change Pickups. The Guitar you see on 2 pics is not part of the deal!!. Upgrading My Epiphone Casino. I have loved playing this Epiphone Casino over the years I owned it. Decided to make some improvements as this guitar is a keeper for sure. I was never all that happy with the pickups as they tended to sound a bit harsh at times. So I re-wired the Casino with a wiring harness from RS-GuitarWorks using their 335.
